Summer, 2026!

Hello, I’m Brad…

A man outdoors in a grassy field, wearing a blue jacket, gray cap with a 'COSTA' logo, and binoculars around his neck, holding a small amphibian or reptile in his hand.

I’m a wildlife ecologist, educator, and nature author who loves helping people discover the wildlife living all around them. After nearly 20 years of wildlife research, I now focus on connecting people with nature through my books and engaging walks, talks, and hands-on programs that spark curiosity and inspire care for the natural world.

In 2024, I launched the Northeast Wildlife Team and the Wildlife Out Your Window book series to make wildlife education approachable and empowering. When I’m not writing my upcoming books, you’ll find me leading outdoor walks and interactive programs across the northeastern U.S.

If you’re looking for an engaging program that inspires curiosity and connection with wildlife, I’d love to bring one to your community—click here to schedule a program.

Warmly,

Brad
